Summer Youth Arts Initiative
Boston After School & Beyond, in partnership with the City of Boston and two private family foundations, is proud to announce the release of $100,000 in Summer Youth Arts Initiative grants!
Arts & Culture, Sports and Environment Showcase a Great Success!
Boston Public School staff and principals from twenty-eight schools meet with thirty OST program providers in this year's showcase. The next Showcase will take place Spring '07.
Providers Arts Resource Center for OST Network Practitioners.
Boston Beyond and Extras for Creative Learning, (E.x.C.L.) a recycled materials distribution center for educators and artists have partnered to create the Providers Arts Resource Center (P.A.R.C.) for OST network practitioners.
Other Highlights
- Teen Initiative released an RFP for developing organizational networks that will provide coordinated direct services to youth, especially those youth most likely to drop out of high school.
- Achieve-Boston launches the School-Age and Youth Development (SAYD) pilot.
- Partners for Student Success selects second round of schools.
